I want to make an impact in people’s lives that come to me for help.
That has been my goal since I crossed paths with the very first coach and mentor that influenced me around the time I was in high school. No he wasn’t a teacher, counselor, or school coach, he was just a man that loved boxing. Even though he told me he was going to coach me for boxing he ended up mentoring me in a way that changed my life.
It was like he came to my life at the perfect time when I needed a role model and guidance from someone. He was able to change my perspective by giving me more of a positive mindset and helped me realize just how much a persons life can change with fitness. I realized that through fitness a person can guide you to feel more confident, healthy, mentally strong, bliss, pride, cared and heard. You become a part of a community and gain a new kind of family, all whom push you to be better and take care of yourself.
All those feelings and things that came to my life in that moment were things that I wanted to give to other people.
That is exactly how I found my passion for health and fitness.
This is beyond something that is fun for me, a hobby, or because I like working out.
Every thank you letter, messages, tears shed, compliments, frustrations, secrets you guys have shared with me, and the trust you guys have given me. To the bonds I have created with the amazing people I have made connections with.
The good and the bad experiences.
Now that is how I came to love what I do.
